Recital Checklist

Costume (black leotard, pink tights for all ballet students, black skirt for all Level 2, Pointe 1, Pointe 2, Pointe 3)

BOX of large bobby pins AND BOX of small bobby pins

Hairnets (can be purchased in the hair supply section of any drug store)

bullet

Goody ponytail holders (regular size--not small or fat, braided kind)

bullet

Barrettes (plain ones without designs on them) close to the color of your hair

bullet

Aqua Net hair spray (it is super cheap, but it holds better than the non-aerosol kind) or Hair Gel

bullet

Base or foundation 2 shades darker than "normal" skin tone (unless you are naturally "dark", then just foundation for normal skin tone)

Eyeshadow--medium brown

bullet

Blush--medium brown or deep burgundy

Eyeliner--black

bullet

Mascara--black WATERPROOF--I hope we don't have any tears, but just in case, we don't want any "raccoon eyes"!!!!

Deep burgundy lipstick

 

NO ONE IS TO WEAR UNDERPANTS DURING THE RECITAL!  You do not wear underpants with leotards and tights.  The tights are made to function as underpants.  Some of the children have told me that their moms make them wear underpants with their leotard, but I have told them..."you don't wear underpants with a swim suit, just like you don't wear underpants with your leotard and tights."
